The Sweet Home Public Library is a welcoming community hub dedicated to learning, connection, and lifelong discovery. Serving residents of Sweet Home and the east Linn County area, the Library provides access to books, digital resources, technology, and educational opportunities for all ages. From early literacy programs and storytimes to public computers, teen game nights, Wi-Fi, summer reading programs for all ages, and various community events, the Library supports curiosity and personal growth at every stage of life.

More than a place to check out books, the Sweet Home Public Library is a space where people can gather and community is strengthened. The Library actively partners with local organizations, schools, and volunteers to expand services and respond to the evolving needs of the community. Committed to equitable access, intellectual freedom, and excellent customer service, the Sweet Home Public Library works to ensure everyone has the resources they need to learn, connect, and thrive, since 1942!

CULTURE CONNECTS PROGRAM GOALS

In 2025 the Sweet Home Rodeo was revived and sold out. We would like to help them continue to build on this popularity by hosting a rodeo or ranching themed speaker event the week prior to the event in 2026. In addition to brining more light to the Rodeo event, we believe that this type of tie-in will also introduce the Library to additional people in the community that might not normally visit the Library.
